Green Dirt on Oak is Kansas City’s true farm-to-table restaurant and urban cheese kitchen, located in the vibrant East Crossroads neighborhood, just south of downtown. We bring the flavors of our Animal Welfare Approved® sheep dairy farm in Weston, Missouri, to the heart of Kansas City.
Our seasonal menus feature award-winning sheep’s milk cheeses made on our farm and in our on-site cheese kitchen, house-made breads and pasties, and the best locally sourced ingredients from trusted farmers and producers. Every plate is crafted from scratch, celebrating artisan cheese, fresh ingredients, and bold, comforting flavors.
Join us for dinner Wednesday–Sunday from 5 pm in our upstairs dining room, or visit our downstairs cheese shop and café, open from 10 am, for brunch, coffee, and a selection of our award-winning artisan cheeses, other delicious gourmet foods, and gifts.
